From Kuil Gunung Kawi our guide offered to take us to Mount Batur for lunch, though to our disappointment one of the overpriced, stock-standard tourist buffet restaurants that the Chinese tourists love. The only redeeming feature was the beautiful view of Lake Batur sitting inside Mount Batur which was visible from our table.
