The reason ours only cost 120 Yuan was because we picked poorly, the tour included non of the 9 Classical Gardens. Do your research beforehand on what you want to see and find the tour operators that have what you want to see. Choosing them around the train station you will be able to negotiate as well. I was just wondering, how did you find a tour that only cost 120 Yuan? I really don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a tour, i was thinking of just going to Suzhou and trying to find some random operator for the canal ride, but i will probably be pretty lost.
